About Me:

My name is Melissa Snyder and I specialize in 2D art. I earned a BA in Studio Art at the University of Minnesota Morris. I will be earning my MFA in Studio Art at Eastern Michigan University.

During my time at UMM, my artwork was shown at an in house 2023 exhibition, “Level Up,” in the Edward J & Helen Jane Morrison Gallery. My piece “Sightless” was also shown in the Pearview Gallery online exhibition “Get Spooked,” where I won Best In Show.

Traveling to local Minnesota conventions to sell my artwork is one of my biggest passions. You can find my art featured on many products and I take great joy in designing new items.

The work I create typically is made traditionally using graphite, colored pencils, watercolor, gouache, and other dry media. I also dabble in digital art using the program Procreate.
